About Us

A few years ago we had to make one of the hardest decisions of our life. We had to decide to help a dear loyal friend find her way over the rainbow bridge. She was a member of our family, she was on this earth for 14 years and her name was Keeva. She was and will always be the best Rottweiler we will ever know. After her death our house was very empty. Not having a dog at home created an emptyness that we needed to fill. We all agreed we would find another dog.

Both Stuart and I had lived with and bred many different types of breeds during our lifetimes. We were wanting a different breed so we researched many different types. During our research Natasha (daughter) discovered the Swissy. We read about their personality, their wash and wear coats and their goofy antics. We were sold on them and soon after aquired our first swissy "Benny". We were hooked on swissy's after Benny was home for about a week. Ben was and is the sweetest of boys. A silly, playful gentle giant, his main goal in life(besides eating) is to please us. Originally we showed Ben in conformation until he was x-rayed and diaganosed with moderate hip dysplasia. After learning of this we decided to stop showing him and had him neutered. He is now retired and living a dogs life. He is and always will be our special boy, our first swissy.  He has taught us so much, from choosing a breeder to the health issues of GSMD's. We are thankful he is a part of our life.

There is a saying amounst swissy folks "You can't have just one". This was very true for us. We obtained a little girl swissy, "Shanti" from a reputable breeder, Lisa Simonson. A few months later we were told about a little boy swissy through another reputable breeder, Bonnie Huett and we soon brought home "Kruzer". We are thankful that both of these breeders had enough faith in us to let us raise these great dogs. They have grown into beautiful Swissys with sound structure, movement and temperment.

So now our happy home has grown considerably. We have fallen head over heals for this breed. We can't imagine life without one of these big, beautiful, playful, hard working, loving dogs at our side.
